Claire Griffiths

Since graduating from LCC’s Photography BA in 2006 Claire’s photographic practice has moved towards working collaboratively alongside other photographers and artists. Through combining knowledge and experience gained from completing an MA in Inclusive arts practice, developing and running workshops and pursuing personal projects, Claire has developed an intuitive and practice-based approach to her work. She collaborates with and also facilitates people from diverse and marginalised communities and groups. Her film and photographic practice consists predominately of the use of analogue media, experimenting with pinhole photography, camera obscuras and alternative processes. Dominant themes in her work include fading and invisible communities.
